Countrybars.ca welcomes Oil City Roadhouse to the country bar scene here in Edmonton, Alberta. The grand opening celebrations took place on March 30 & 31, 2007. Countrybars was proud to be in attendance and enjoy all the fun of the first official nights the bar was open. As we got there the first night around 9:30 there was a line up outside and the bar was already busy. Right from the start everyone working there from the door staff, security bartenders and waitreses were all very friendly and made it a pleasure to be there. As the evening progressed it apperead that everyone was having a great time. A couple times during the evening the Oil City dancers took the stage and danced out a couple routines for all in attendance. By the time we left the first night it had been a great night at the bar.
The second night was simply more of the same. Lots of great music, tons of happy customers, dance floor was packed and the line was even longer outside.
